Who we are
Amanora Consulting LLC (“Amanora”, “we”) is a HIPAA compliance consulting firm based in Miami, Florida. This policy covers this website only. Work we do for clients is covered by our written agreements with them.
What we collect
When you request a consultation, we collect the details you enter in the form: your name, your practice’s name, your email address and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, practice type, practice size, whether you have more than one location, the service you’re interested in and your message.
Like most websites, our web host automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use this information to identify you or track you across other websites.
Cookies
This website doesn’t use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, so we don’t ask you to accept any. Our web host, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from attacks and automated traffic. They aren’t used to track you or to advertise to you.
Patient information and payment details
This website is not meant for protected health information or payment details. Please don’t include patient names, any other patient details or card numbers in the contact form. When we work with a client and need access to patient information, we do so under a signed business associate agreement, not through this website. If patient information reaches us through the website by mistake, we delete it.
How we use your information
- To reply to your request and arrange your consultation
- To prepare a proposal if you ask for one
- To keep a record of our conversations with you
- To protect the website from spam and misuse
We don’t use your information for advertising, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell, rent or share your information for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this website and respond to you:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- Formspree, which receives the contact form and sends it to us
- Google Workspace, which provides our email
They may use your information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you and to maintain our business records, and then we delete it.
How we protect it
The website is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the information you send us is limited to the people at Amanora who need it to respond to you. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Send your request through our contact form and mention “privacy request”. We’ll respond within 30 days. When we delete your information, we also remove it from our form service and our email.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top of the page.
